BIO
Daemes is a singer and songwriter based in Brooklyn, whose dark indie pop explores the spaces between strength and vulnerability, seduction, and sincerity.
While Daemes was still an undergraduate at NYU, platinum record producer Barb Morrison (best known for their work with Blondie) approached her after a show. What followed was a productive working relationship during which Morrison produced much of Daemes’ early work. “Riptide, ” which is due on November 13th, is Daemes’ debut single, the first of their collaborations to be released.
